Building on this week’s losses, stocks were flat on Friday as Wall Street’s August struggles persist.
30 points, or 0.1%, were lost by the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The S&P 500 traded down 0.3%, while the Nasdaq Composite declined 0.6%. All four of the major averages were on track for their fourth straight daily loss.
Keysight Technologies shares lost more than 10% on the back of a disappointing earnings report. Deere and Estee Lauder also fell more than 3% after announcing their earnings. Meta shares continued their decline for the week, falling more than 2% Friday.
