On Wednesday, stock futures showed minimal fluctuations as investors awaited the release of fresh U.S. inflation data and corporate earnings.
Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a slight decline of 19 points, or less than 0.1%. Meanwhile, S&P 500 futures experienced a 0.1% increase, and Nasdaq-100 futures rose by 0.3%.
Bitcoin-related companies, Coinbase and Marathon Digital, both experienced a decrease in their stock prices, dropping by 1% and nearly 3% respectively. This decline was attributed to an erroneous announcement posted on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s X account, claiming the approval of bitcoin ETFs.
