After Nvidia’s post-earnings bounce failed to spur the market, stocks plummeted on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average recording its worst day of 2024.
With 30 stocks, the Dow fell 605.78 points, or 1.53%, for its worst day of the year.
After declining 7.5%, Boeing was the Dow’s greatest underperformed.
Amidst the day’s highs for both indexes, the S&P 500 fell 0.74% and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.39%.
