With Wall Street ending a three-day losing trend, stock futures surged on Wednesday. Investors also sought to recover additional losses from the previous week.
A 0.9% gain, or 350 points, was made in futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Futures on the Nasdaq 100 surged 1.5%, while those on the S&P 500 increased by 1.3%.
After a productive session, Wall Street is in the clear. The Dow jumped over 300 points, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite each gained 1%.
As a result of recession fears and the unwinding of the yen carry trade, the Dow and the S&P 500 had their worst sessions since 2022 on Monday.
