1.8 Million Teslas were Delivered in 2023 after the Company Reported 485,000 Deliveries in the Fourth Quarter

Tesla has recently released its fourth-quarter vehicle production and deliveries report for 2023, unveiling some significant figures. Here are the key highlights:

– Total deliveries in Q4 2023: 484,507
– Total production in Q4 2023: 494,989
– Total annual deliveries for 2023: 1,808,581
– Total annual production for 2023: 1,845,985

Comparing these figures to the previous year, in 2022, Tesla achieved annual deliveries of 1.31 million and production of 1.37 million electric vehicles. This indicates a notable delivery growth of 38% and production growth of 35% year over year. Additionally, the company experienced a 40% increase in deliveries from 2021.

During Tesla’s last earnings call in October 2023, company executives had provided guidance, stating that they were targeting at least 1.8 million deliveries for the full year. It is worth mentioning that this projection had been revised down from an earlier goal of 2 million deliveries.
