On Wednesday, Amazon unveiled a new AI tool for sellers that aids in the creation of writing for their product pages.
The tool asks vendors to add a few words or phrases that briefly describe their goods. Then it spits out a variety of text, including product titles, bullet points, and descriptions, that a seller may utilise to build their listing. The tool can be used by sellers to create new listings or improve current ones.
At this week’s Amazon Accelerate conference for the company’s third-party sellers, which is hosted yearly in Seattle, the functionality was unveiled. Amazon was testing the technology among a handful of sellers, according to a report in The Information from August.
According to Amazon’s VP of global selling partner experience Mary Beth Westmoreland, “this is simply the tip of the iceberg on how we plan to employ AI to assist improve the seller experience and help more sellers thrive.”
