Amazon’s Prime Day mega sale will return on July 16 and 17, the firm announced Tuesday.
As in prior years, Amazon stated that the event will contain millions of bargains, with new discounts dropping “as often as every five minutes during select periods throughout the event.”.
The firm announced that it will again provide invite-only bargains, in which members of its Prime subscription club can seek an invitation to enjoy discounts on items that often sell out quickly.
It began offering invite-only bargains to Prime subscribers last year. Amazon introduced Prime Day in 2015 to provide unique deals to its staple subscription programme members.
Prime costs $139 a year and provides benefits like fast shipping and access to streaming content.
The price extravaganza is intended to recruit new Prime subscribers, promote Amazon’s products and services, and increase sales during a typically slow shopping season.
