On Thursday, stock futures increased as traders attempted to recoup from losses from the previous trading day.
A post-earnings dip in Nvidia shares also seemed to be forgotten by Wall Street. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were up 247 points, or 0.6%. Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500 futures increased by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively.
When Nvidia released its most recent numbers on Wednesday afternoon, the company’s stock fell 4%.
The AI chipmaker reported a strong current-quarter sales projection and outperformed analysts’ estimates in its fiscal second quarter.
