Stock futures became more volatile early Friday following a record-breaking session, with two of the three major indexes on track for their third consecutive weekly gain.
S&P 500 futures remained near flat, while Nasdaq-100 futures increased by 0.11%. Meanwhile, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures dipped slightly, down 71 points or 0.13%.
On Thursday, the S&P 500 reached an intraday all-time high of 7,816.70 and closed at a new record. The technology and communication services sectors led the gains, each rising around 1%.
