The 30-stock Dow climbed 31.99 points, or 0.08%, to settle at 38,884.26. Notably, the blue-chip index recorded its fifth consecutive day of gains, marking its longest winning streak since December. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 inched up by 0.13% to finish at 5,187.70, while the Nasdaq Composite dipped by 0.1% to close at 16,332.56 at the end of the trading session.
