Federal judge inquired whether the organisation formerly known as Twitter was trying to “cosy up” to the ex-president by withholding information pertaining to his account as part of a criminal investigation into Donald Trump’s efforts to rig the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
During a hearing on February 7, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell reportedly interrogated Twitter’s legal team about their delay in giving the materials to special counsel Jack Smith, who had a search warrant for Trump’s Twitter account.
