Tesla announced that early in the following year, it will introduce its “Full Self Driving” driver assistance product in China and Europe.
The service, which Tesla customers can purchase as an add-on, is scheduled to begin in the two locations in the first quarter of 2025, “pending regulatory approval.”
Tesla hopes to obtain regulatory approval by the end of 2024 in order to introduce its FSD product in Europe and China. One of the main tenets of Musk’s plan to move Tesla closer to self-driving technology and emphasise artificial intelligence (AI) is the so-called Full Self Driving, or FSD.
Actually, FSD cannot achieve complete autonomy with their vehicles, despite what its product label claims. In addition to having to take over when necessary, drivers must still remain behind the wheel and maintain their focus on the road.
