Monday, Elon Musk has resurrected a case against Sam Altman in a federal court, claiming that the CEO of Tesla was coerced into co-founding OpenAI.
The main thrust of Musk’s accusations is around his belief that Altman and current OpenAI President Greg Brockman “courted and deceived” him into co-founding the AI company under the pretence that it was a non-profit.
Musk was “betrayed by Altman and his accomplices” after he joined the company and made a million-dollar investment because they “established an opaque web of for-profit OpenAI affiliates, engaged in rampant self-dealing” with Microsoft.
