While attending North Carolina Central University to study law in 2022, Italo Medelius-Marsano took a job at an Amazon warehouse outside of Raleigh in order to supplement his income.
In his three years at the company, this past month has been unlike any other.
Medelius-Marsano claims that he now encounters flyers, mounted TVs, and QR codes on workstations that navigate to an anti-union website when he arrives for his shift at the shipping dock. Managers hinder unionisation in meetings.
