After two straight sessions that set new records, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell on Friday but was on track for its best week of the year.The decline was 190 points, or 0.5%, on the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
The Nasdaq Composite gained 0.2% as the S&P 500 remained close to the flatline. This week, all three major averages are expected to post strong increases; the Dow is expected to post its best week since December, with a 2.3% gain, while the S&P 500 is expected to rise by 2.4%.Out of the three, the Nasdaq has performed the best, rising 3%.
