As investors evaluate fresh U.S. economic data, the S&P 500 rose on Wednesday, continuing a four-day winning streak.
To settle at 4,514.87, the broad market index increased by 0.38% and went over the 4,500 mark. To end the session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 37.57 points, or 0.11%, to close at 34,890.24. The tech-focused Nasdaq increased 0.54% to 14,019.31. The four-day increase in the S&P helped the index reduce its month-to-date losses to about 1.6%.
