Tesla released its 2023 third-quarter report on vehicle production and deliveries on Monday.

The manufacturer of electric vehicles has provided these essential figures:

Total deliveries in Q3 2023: 435,059

Q3 2023: 430,488 units produced in total.

Tesla recorded 466,140 total deliveries and 479,700 total vehicle manufacturing during the preceding quarter. Tesla reported total vehicle production of 365,923 and deliveries of 343,830 over the same period in 2022.

According to information from the most recent earnings call, anticipated downtimes for factory upgrades were the reason of a sequential fall in volumes. “Our volume target for 2023 of about 1.8 million vehicles stays the same.”

On Monday morning, Tesla stock was down more than 2%.

Elon Musk, the company’s CEO, issued a warning on its most recent earnings call in July, saying that while Tesla will “continue to target 1.8 million vehicle deliveries this year,” he anticipated that third-quarter production would decrease significantly due to “summer shutdowns for a lot of facility upgrades.”
