As investors anticipated a slew of economic data for the upcoming week as well as the earnings of two significant tech companies, stock futures were barely moved Sunday night.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average-related futures dipped 2 points, or 0.01%, to the downside. Nasdaq 100 futures and S&P 500 futures both increased by 0.1% and 0.06%, respectively.
An up week for stocks came to an end on Friday. The Dow increased by 75.86 points, or 0.22%, to finish at 34,576.59, while the S&P crept up by 0.14% to close at 4,457.49 and end a three-day losing skid. At 13,761.53, the Nasdaq Composite managed a meagre rise of 0.09%. However, all three indices had a negative week. The S&P had not seen a negative week in three weeks.
