As Wall Street began a condensed Thanksgiving trading week, U.S. stock futures rose Monday.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 302 points, or 0.7%. Nasdaq-100 futures gained about 0.6%, while futures linked to the S&P 500 increased by 0.5%.
The postelection bounce has resumed, and Wall Street is coming off a good week. The 30-stock Dow had a record closing on Friday after rising almost 2% previous week.
The Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 both increased by almost 1.7%. Over the course of the week, the small-cap Russell 2000 increased by almost 4.5 percent.
