Tuesday night, as investors anticipated the latest round of corporate earnings reports from well-known brands like Nvidia, stock futures were almost flat.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 22 points, or 0.1%. Futures for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 both increased by 0.1%.
Urban Outfitters shares were up more than 5% in extended trade on the strength of a better-than-expected quarterly report, despite retail equities being down on Tuesday. However, La-Z-Boy’s stock fell more than 1% when management predicted that furniture sales would “remain challenging.”
