Wednesday saw a small increase in stock futures as investors examined the most recent corporate profits and prepared for the release of private payroll data.
Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 42 points, or 0.1%. Futures on the S&P 500 increased by 0.2%, while those on the Nasdaq 100 increased by approximately 0.4%.
After exceeding Wall Street estimates on both fronts in its fiscal second quarter, Hewlett Packard Enterprise saw a growth of more than 14%.
Stronger-than-expected results and forecast caused CrowdStrike to soar by nearly 7%.
