Microsoft announced on Tuesday that it will provide rank-and-file employees with a one-time performance-based cash payment of up to 25% of their yearly bonus.
Microsoft’s chief people officer, Kathleen Hogan, stated in a message sent to staff members that hourly and salaried personnel at the senior director level and lower will be qualified for the prize.
Senior directors may receive up to 10% of the incentive, while junior staff may receive up to 25% of their bonus.
In the memo, Hogan stated that the executives of Microsoft wished to thank employees for a successful fiscal year.
Following Tuesday’s trading session, Microsoft released its fourth-quarter financial results.
The company stated that revenue rose 15% over the previous year. For the entire fiscal year that concluded on June 30th, revenue increased from 7% in the fiscal year 2023 to almost 16%.
