As the final trading week of the first half of the year began and investors sold shares in technology companies that have outperformed this year, the Nasdaq Composite fell.
The S&P 500 lost 0.45% to end the day at 4,328.82, while the Nasdaq lost 1.16% to close at 13,335.78. To finish at 33,714.71, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 12.72 points, or 0.04%.
