Oracle’s biggest health-care product update since purchasing the medical records behemoth Cerner for $28 billion in 2022 was a brand-new electronic health record that was launched on Tuesday.
A digital record of a patient’s medical history that is updated over time by physicians and nurses is called an electronic health record, or EHR.
Although EHR software can be difficult for physicians to use, it has become a crucial part of the contemporary American healthcare system.
The cloud and artificial intelligence features of Oracle’s most recent EHR will make it simpler to use and configure, the company claimed.
Doctors may use their voices to ask enquiries and retrieve the information they require without the use of menus or drop-down screens.
The goal is for physicians to spend more time providing patient care and less time looking through medical information.
