Lilium, a German aerospace startup, will go bankrupt if it doesn’t secure emergency capital from the Bavarian state government.
A startup once hailed as Europe’s best opportunity to create the flying “cars” of the twenty-first century would plunge precipitously into insolvency.
One company attempting to construct “eVTOLs,” or electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles, is Lilium.
These vehicles are being developed by entrepreneurs in the US, Europe, and Asia and are commonly referred to as flying cars or air taxis. But now, Lilium is having problems.
The business is frantically attempting to raise German taxpayer money. Additionally, it hasn’t worked out yet.
