In early trading on Wednesday, futures for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 increased as traders awaited the upcoming Federal Reserve monetary policy decision. Meanwhile, SpaceX was set to rise again.
Futures linked to the overall market gained 0.1%, while Nasdaq-related contracts rose 0.6%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures experienced a slight decline.
SpaceX shares increased by 3.5% in premarket trading. Since its initial public offering last week at $135 per share, the stock has surged approximately 50%, pushing the company’s valuation above that of Amazon.
