U.S. stock futures declined early Tuesday after the major indexes reached fresh record highs during the regular trading session.
S&P 500 futures dropped 0.17%
Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.1%
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures declined by 193 points, or 0.37%, as of 5:35 a.m. E.T.
Shares of Hewlett Packard Enterprise soared 26% after reporting strong second quarter results, surpassing expectations and raising its full-year guidance the company’s best earnings beat since 2018.
On Monday, a rally in the technology sector, led by Nvidia’s launch of a new PC chip, pushed stocks higher.
The S&P 500 gained 0.26%, the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.42%, and the Dow added 46.42 points, or 0.09%. All three indices hit new intraday and closing records.
