After a negative week for Wall Street, stocks increased slightly on Monday. The favourable reversal occurred as investors readied themselves for the start of the second quarter results season and a slew of inflation data later in the week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 205 points, or 0.6%, higher. The Nasdaq Composite dipped 0.05% while the S&P 500 increased by 0.2%.
