In a hurried session that began the second half of what has already been a fantastic year on Wall Street, stocks slightly increased.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished at 34,418.47 after rising 10.87 points, or 0.03%. The Nasdaq Composite increased 0.21% to 13,816.77, while the S&P 500 rose 0.12% to close at 4,455.59.
In preparation for the Fourth of July holiday, U.S. markets closed early. Tuesday will also see them closed.
