U.S. stocks declined on Wednesday as Wall Street started a holiday-shortened week and anticipated the afternoon release of Federal Reserve meeting minutes.
125 points, or 0.4%, were lost by the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The Nasdaq Composite was almost flat while the S&P 500 fell by 0.2%.
Due to the Fourth of July holiday, markets were closed on Tuesday. Monday morning they closed.
