Tuesday saw a decline in stocks as investors combed through the most recent Middle East news, with the ongoing crisis between Iran and Israel.
Wall Street analysed dismal retail sales statistics. 0.3%, or 129 points, were taken off the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
Each of the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 had a 0.4% decline. In a Truth Social post on Monday night, President Donald Trump stated that “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran.”
Trump departed the G7 summit in Canada early in order to address the Middle East problem, but he did not conclude trade agreements with all of the member countries.
