The Super Bowl Advertisement causes Shopify to Remove the Website that Sells Swastika Apparel

Shopify removed a website that sold Swastika t-shirts and was promoted by artist Ye, who was once known as Kanye West.

The rapper advertised a $20 t-shirt with a black swastika on Sunday during the Super Bowl, directing fans to purchase Yeezy.com. Up until Tuesday morning, the website was accessible.

Shopify spokeswoman, the Canadian online retailer removed the website due to a violation of its terms of service.

An error message stating, “This store is unavailable,” has taken the place of the shopfront. In a statement, the spokesman stated, “We removed this merchant from Shopify because they violated our terms and did not engage in authentic commerce practices.”
