Stocks declined on Wednesday as pressure on several tech companies led to the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 ending their recent winning streaks.
The Dow remained unchanged, while the S&P 500 slipped by 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite also pulled back, with a decline of 0.4%.
Uber shares plummeted by 8.5% following the rideshare company’s unexpected net loss and weaker-than-anticipated bookings revenue. Additionally, Intel saw a decrease of more than 2% after the chipmaker revised down its second-quarter revenue guidance.
