Intel officials are collaborating with a number of experts to develop solutions to solve its struggling company.
At an impending board meeting in September, those advisors—which include Morgan Stanley and other bankers—will probably propose ideas to Intel’s directors.
The advisors are thinking through every possibility, including selling and separating apart companies. The company’s collaboration with experts to generate strategic options was initially revealed by Bloomberg News.
When CNBC reached out for comment, Intel representatives did not get back to us right away. An agent at Morgan Stanley declined to provide a statement.
