A growing number of large firms have made similar actions in response to mounting public and judicial scrutiny, including Amazon, which is stopping some of its diversity and inclusion activities.
As part of a larger evaluation of hundreds of initiatives, Amazon is “winding down outdated programs and materials.”
“We are concentrating on programs that have demonstrated results – and we also aim to foster a more truly inclusive culture,” Castleberry wrote in the note dated December 16, which was initially published by Bloomberg.
