The initial delivery of software updates for the iPhone and iPad will not coincide with the October rollout of Apple’s new artificial intelligence features, as per a Monday Bloomberg article.
The corporation separated the Apple Intelligence capabilities from the original iOS launch because of test-scaling issues and reliability concerns.
Sales of Apple’s new iPhones are anticipated to increase thanks to the AI features, which the company previously announced will be available in beta form this autumn.
Only iPhone 15 Pro versions and later are compatible with these functionalities. It is anticipated that some of the anticipated Apple Intelligence capabilities, such ChatGPT integration and enhanced Siri, will be made available later in the year.
Apple intends to provide developers with early access to Apple Intelligence in the iOS 18.1 beta as soon as this week.
