Tuesday saw a little increase in S&P 500 futures as investors became more optimistic about the next reporting season following Bank of America’s better-than-expected earnings announcement.
Nasdaq 100 futures and futures linked to the overall index saw increases of 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively. The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures increased by 12 points, remaining marginally over zero.
Prior to the bell, Bank of America saw a more than 1% increase in stock price as its results above expert projections.
As the new reporting season gets underway, it’s the most recent well-known brand to release quarterly financial data.
