Tuesday saw a rise in the Dow Jones Industrial Average as investors took in better-than-expected company earnings.
At 34,951.93, the Dow closed up 366.58 points, or 1.06%. The S&P 500 increased 0.71% to close at 4,554.98, while the Nasdaq Composite increased 0.76% to close at 14,353.64. The Dow recorded its longest winning streak since March 2021 with a seventh straight day of advances.
