Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Wednesday that the company’s lead in artificial intelligence processors stemmed from a gamble it made over ten years ago, which included billions of dollars in AI investment and a staff of thousands of engineers.
Huang’s remarks came during the question-and-answer session at Nvidia’s first shareholder meeting since the company’s stock began to rise in response to Wall Street’s increased interest in the company’s leading position in the AI chip industry.
