Elon Musk’s company xAI introduced Grok 3, its newest artificial intelligence model, on Tuesday.
Preliminary testing, which included standardised tests in arithmetic, science, and coding, the model can outperform OpenAI’s and China’s DeepSeek.
“We are thrilled to introduce Grok 3, which we believe is an order of magnitude more powerful than Grok 2 in a very short amount of time,” Musk stated during a Grok 3 presentation that was broadcast live on his social media platform X.
A new product named “Deep Search,” which would function as a “next generation search engine,” was also announced by the team.
Beginning Tuesday in the United States, Grok 3 will be made available to premium X subscribers. The xAI team also announced that the model’s web and app versions will be available through a separate subscription.
