Notably, the company experienced an 18% increase in revenue from $1.82 billion in the previous year. Airbnb reported a net income of $264 million, or 41 cents per share, surpassing the $117 million, or 18 cents per share, recorded in the corresponding period last year.
Looking ahead to the second quarter, Airbnb projected revenue to fall within the range of $2.68 billion to $2.74 billion. This forecast falls slightly short of analysts’ expectations of $2.74 billion for the same period, as reported by LSEG.
