Apple unveiled new Mac Mini models on Tuesday, which are much smaller desktop computers with the first significant makeover since 2010.
Apple’s latest chip, the M4 or a more potent version known as the M4 Pro, is the primary update on these new laptops, aside from a redesign that decreased the computer’s volume by half and downsized the chassis.
Starting at $599, the Mac Mini is Apple’s most affordable Mac. It is sold without a display. The product series was first offered in 2008 as a computer for those who wanted to move away from Microsoft Windows. They could just plug their old keyboard, mouse, and monitor into their new silver box.
Although it is not one of Apple’s best-selling laptops, the Mac Mini is a crucial part of the company’s lineup, particularly for developers of apps for iPhones and other Apple platforms. To manage code and uploads, a lot of iPhone developers prefer to use a Mac Mini as a personal development server.
