Barcelona — British smartphone startup Nothing has launched its latest budget device, the Phone (3a), aiming to spark innovation in the mobile industry.
This phone features a distinctive design with various shapes and “Glyph” lights on the back that activate with ringtones and notification sounds.
The Phone (3a) retails for £329 (around $414), while a more advanced model, the Phone (3a) Pro, starts at £449, offering improved camera features.
Founded in 2020 by Carl Pei, a co-founder of OnePlus, Nothing aims to reintroduce enthusiasm into consumer technology.
Pei highlights the shift in public sentiment, noting that while technology once inspired optimism, many now feel indifferent and seeks to change that perspective.
