Later this year, Amazon will lose Amir Dan Rubin as CEO of primary care provider One Medical, which Amazon purchased roughly a year ago.
In an internal memo that CNBC was able to receive, Neil Lindsay, the head of Amazon Health Services, said, “I want to share with you all that after six plus years as CEO of One Medical, helping steer the organisation to new levels of impact, Amir Dan Rubin has decided to depart One Medical later this year.”
The message states that Trent Green, One Medical’s operational president, will take over for Rubin. The departure was first covered by The Washington Post.
Trent is a very capable, seasoned, and values-driven leader, according to Rubin in a different memo to staff. “I am incredibly optimistic about everything One Medical is poised to accomplish moving forward as a member of Amazon.”
